Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Contract Step into a specialized clinical role delivering advanced radiation therapy within an established healthcare environment. This contract position primarily seeks skilled radiation therapists capable of supporting comprehensive oncology treatment, with flexibility for full-time scheduling. The role is suited for candidates adept at adapting to either locum or temporary assignments alongside those open to extended placement.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Active certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT preferred) Demonstrated clinical experience providing radiation therapy Proficiency with MOSAIQ and MONACO (Planning) software, and ELEKTA treatment systems Commitment to best practices for patient safety and accurate radiation delivery Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective communication abilities to collaborate with oncology and multidisciplinary care teams
Schedule/Hours:
Generally full-time preferred but flexibility available for other scheduling arrangements Key responsibilities: Perform daily radiation therapy procedures following physician and medical physicist instructions Operate and calibrate ELEKTA linear accelerators and utilize
MOSAIQ/MONACO
systems for planning and documentation Ensure precise treatment setup, immobilization, and monitoring of patients throughout the course of therapy Maintain accurate records, charting doses and treatment progress in accordance with departmental protocols Communicate effectively with patients, providing instructions, support, and reassurance throughout each visit Participate in quality assurance reviews and uphold rigorous compliance with hospital safety standards You will play a pivotal role in helping patients through technically advanced treatments, ensuring the highest standards of care and precision.
