A dynamic contract opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential support during a maternity leave coverage. This position spans multiple elementary schools in the Greenville, SC area for the spring semester, from mid-February through mid-May 2027. You'll collaborate closely with one of the district occupational therapists, making a meaningful impact on students' daily development.

Key Qualifications:

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in South Carolina is required. Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desired. Strong interpersonal and communication skills vital for working with students, staff, and families. The ability to adapt and organize in a multi-school environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to an average of 9-10 students per day, in mostly 30-minute sessions, as scheduled at assigned schools. Implement and document therapy interventions under the supervision of the district occupational therapist. Support students in achieving individualized educational and developmental goals. Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to the supervising OT and educational teams. Travel between the designated school locations as scheduled.
