Job Description

The organization is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patients in regaining independence through occupational therapy. This role offers the opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients. Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients' mobility, strength, and daily living skills. Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and adaptive equipment use. Document patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding therapy services.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Active COTA license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure. CPR/BLS certification required. Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
