Job Description

Tennessee Educational Cooperative is a dedicated public nonprofit agency serving East Tennessee. The cooperative fosters collaboration among local school systems to develop and deliver essential educational and support services across the region and state.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. In this vital role, you will work in a public school closely with an occupational therapist to and students to provide high-quality occupational therapy services. Your efforts will help school aged students improve their daily functioning, develop skills, and achieve greater independence in their lives.
Responsibilities:
Implement IEP treatment plans designed by licensed occupational therapists, ensuring goals are met effectively. Support pediatric occupational therapy , focusing on childhood developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder interventions. Maintain accurate care documentation, progress notes, and treatment records in compliance with healthcare standards.
Requirements:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program. Experience working with children in a school setting preferred. Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and caregivers effectively. Proficiency in occupational therapy techniques for clients with autism and other developmental delays is a plus.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 21.0 per week
