Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students from PreK through 12th grade as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in a vibrant, school-based environment. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience across multiple campuses, working alongside educators and other therapists to deliver personalized occupational therapy interventions that help students thrive academically and personally. In this role, you will provide direct services to students, manage a varied caseload, and collaborate with your multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include engaging in evaluations, diligent data collection, and crafting detailed reports to support each student's progress. This position is onsite and designed for those who excel in adapting to diverse needs and enjoy making a tangible difference in children's lives.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Licensed or certified as an Occupational Therapist Assistant Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Skilled with both younger and older students (PreK12th grade) Proficient in conducting evaluations and accurately documenting outcomes Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities Comfortable managing a dynamic caseload and adapting to varying needs
Responsibilities Include:
Delivering occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs Maintaining organized and accurate records, data, and reports Engaging in progress monitoring and adjustment of intervention plans Collaborating with teachers, parents, and related service providers Contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment Remaining onsite for all scheduled hours, Monday through Friday Compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $40+ per hour, commensurate with experience.
