  • professional development reimbursement Description This is a w2 employment opportunity for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant based in Corpus Christi, TX.
The role involves assisting with the implementation of individualized therapy plans, providing direct occupational therapy care to clients, and monitoring progress to ensure outcomes align with treatment goals. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with occupational therapists and team members, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting program development to enhance therapy services. Qualifications Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation techniques Strong skills in Patient Care and delivering therapeutic interventions Experience in Program Development and ability to support innovative approaches to therapy Knowledge and experience in School Based Therapy is a plus Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Texas Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to fostering independence and enhancing clients' quality of life CPR certification and valid driver's license Timeline Looking for someone to start ASAP. Hours dependent on contractual relationships within community school systems and businesses with opportunity to increase time over the course of the school year.
