Job Description
Join a team dedicated to helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting, you will provide skilled rehabilitative treatment designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and restore functional performance for activities of daily living.
Working under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting patient recovery while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
What Youll DoAs a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:
Implement and administer occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the Occupational TherapistDeliver therapeutic interventions focused on restoring function and maximizing independenceApply infection control and universal precaution standards during patient careMaintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentationCommunicate effectively with patients, families, interdisciplinary team members, and healthcare professionalsSupport continuity of care and contribute to positive patient outcomesPromote company values, agency philosophy, and operational standardsQualificationsCurrent Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in applicable stateHome Health or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferredCurrent CPR certificationValid Drivers LicenseValid Auto InsuranceExperience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, and kneel for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, pull, and/or push up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodat
