Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join their in-house rehabilitation team. The COTA will play an important role in supporting patient outcomes and helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals. Key Responsibilities Assist with implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Help patients improve functional skills, mobility, independence, and quality of life. Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and recommendations. Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable standards. Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-focused environment. Requirements Current Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification. Active applicable state certification/licensure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-focused approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Clean background check. Authorized to work in the United States.
