We are known for a commitment to quality, integrity, and are passionate about providing effective and compassionate care to our patients. We love to be innovative and are not bogged down by a big corporate office. We have a great geographical region serving patients in the North Austin, Round Rock, Leander, Liberty Hill, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, and Georgetown Areas. We are currently seeking a PRN OT's and COTA;s to add to our amazing clinical team. At GLHH, we believe that our patients are the core of our business and we hire those who share in our core values in all services we provide. We strive to provide work/home balance that most large corporations can't offer. We have a great support team in our office with RN/LVN Case Managers and a fantastic management team who really listen and work to provide support and assistance to the entire team. Requirements for working at GLHH include: Must have a strong ethical core. At GLHH we are known for having high standards of integrity and ethics. We don't cut corners for the bottom line and we always work to do the "right thing" for our patients. Strong history of providing timely and defensive documentation and compliance with Quality Assurance parameters. Must be able to communicate and collaborate well with the field and office staff, as well as patients with dementia, and family members. We get much better results for our patients when we work together as a team with other collaborators like nurses, PT's and ST's and always make patients and family members the center of our care. Must love caring for geriatric patients. Previous home health experience preferred but not required Must have the ability to function autonomously and possess effective time management skills Current unrestricted Texas Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license Current CPR certification Must have valid state driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance and liability insurance. Having home health experience is not a requirement, but OTs/COTA's who have done home health in the past and that are familiar with OASIS are preferred.
