Aveanna Healthcare, a prominent leader in home healthcare and pediatric therapy, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This position provides a unique opportunity to deliver personalized therapeutic interventions and care under the supervision of our Occupational Therapists, enabling patients, particularly children, to achieve their highest level of independence and health in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities include assisting in the development and execution of therapy plans, documenting patient progress, and maintaining a supportive environment. Assist Occupational Therapists in the implementation of therapeutic plans. Document patient progress and response to therapy. Educate patients and families concerning treatments and home therapy strategies. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care. Adhere to all professional and safety regulations and guidelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in documenting and reporting Ability to work well in a team and independently Flexibility to respond to diverse patient needs Capacity to manage time effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Valid driver's license and reliable transportation as the job may require travel to patient homes
