Job Description
The COTA at this SNF will provide treatment in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, improve and correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and restore function with activities of daily living. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will: Administers the Occupational Therapy treatment plan as developed by the Occupational Therapist. Applies concepts of infection control/universal precautions in performing patient care. Assure continuity of quality patient care delivered with appropriate documentation. Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members and other health care professionals. Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies. Requirements Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License Home health or skilled nursing facility experience preferred CPR certification Valid Driver's License Valid Auto Insurance HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred Physical Demands Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, crawl, squat, or kneel for extended periods.
