Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location:
Port Arthur, TX Status:
Full Time, Part Time, PRN Pay:
$38-$45/hour As a COTA, you are the one working side by side with residents as they relearn daily tasks, build coordination, and improve their ability to function safely. At Sabine Heights, you will work closely with residents over time, reinforcing treatment plans and helping carry progress forward from one session to the next. Your role is hands-on, consistent, and directly tied to how residents move through their day with greater confidence and independence.
What you can expect:
Flexibility across full time, part time, and PRN scheduling A consistent therapy environment when you are in the building A team that communicates and works together throughout the day A setting where therapy is part of overall resident care What you will be doing: Carry out treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Support residents with daily living tasks, mobility, coordination, and safety Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies to improve independence Collaborate with the therapy team and interdisciplinary staff Complete documentation accurately and timely What we are looking for: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Texas Skilled nursing experience preferred Someone who takes ownership of their role and consistency with residents Learn more about us: www.sabineheights.com We are proud to be a EOE.
