Occupational Therapy Assistants:

Provides appropriate intervention including treatment related to the established plan of care with appropriate duration and intensity. Educates and trains clients and their families. Accepts assignments from administration and/or Team Lead including caseload, productivity standard, education and in-servicing others, orientation and training new employees, supervising and training students, and supervising Therapy Aides. Communicates through written chart notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries regarding patient's status, any complications, prognosis, new client counseling, and plans for follow-up care. Participates in regularly scheduled or special clinical meetings related to patient care and clinic management. Maintains appropriate team and interdisciplinary relationships. Maintaining therapy spaces to facilitate appropriate standards of care. Adhere to documentation and role-based policies and procedures. Maintains clinical competency in the theory and practice of Occupational Therapy. Work on maintaining and enhancing the Core Values within the Ability Innovations.
