As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our patients. About the Role As a COTA at Highland Care Center, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting occupational therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist Implementing and modifying treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment Requirements Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in occupational therapy or related field preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Compassionate and patient-centered approach Per Diem Opportunities As a per diem COTA, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule and work as many or as few shifts as you like.
