What You'll Do Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will: Implement individualized treatment plans Facilitate engaging, play-based therapy sessions Support children's sensory, motor, emotional, and social development Encourage participation through meaningful activities Collaborate with families and caregivers during sessions Assist with parent education and home program implementation Document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently Communicate regularly with supervising OTs regarding client progress Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development QualificationsRequired Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Virginia COTA license (or eligibility) NBCOT certification Passion for working with children and families Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Pediatric experience Interest in DIR/Floortime®, sensory integration, and developmental approaches Experience supporting neurodivergent children Comfortable working collaboratively with parents Positive, flexible, and growth-oriented mindset New graduates with strong pediatric fieldwork experiences are encouraged to apply.
