We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team at Magnolia Post Acute in Colonial Heights, VA . About the
Role:
As an OTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their highest level of independence and functionality. You will assist with evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing environment, establishing treatment plans, and implementing various methods to ease patient pain and increase mobility. This is a Part-time weekends position, and we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package .
Responsibilities:
Assist with evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing environment Establish treatment plans and implement various methods to ease patient pain and increase mobility Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress
Requirements:
Must have completed an accredited program and possess a valid VA OTA license 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
