Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid COTA certification and licensure in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain). Previous experience in a school setting preferred. Proficiency supporting K-12 student caseloads with a range of physical, sensory, and developmental needs. Comfortable collaborating with virtual team members. Effective communication, documentation, and intervention skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions under OT supervision for a diverse K-12 student population. Support students' participation in educational activities, helping to foster independence and engagement. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress. Contribute to evaluation processes and recommend adaptive tools or classroom strategies.
