Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Description

```Duties```
  • Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the Occupational Therapist. ```Experience```
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Proficient in medical terminology, including knowledge of medical imaging, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with occupational health and acute care settings is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
