Job Description
Position Summary Mt. Ascutney is seeking a part-time certified occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team of skilled clinicians in the inpatient rehabilitation department. The COTA will see patients on both the inpatient rehab and acute/swing units. MAHHC offers a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation. Responsibilities include patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records, and working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care. Qualifications Graduate of an approved school of OTA. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior. Must be a new graduate or an experienced therapist. Licensure & Certifications Current licensure in the State of Vermont. BLS certification required.
