School-Based Soliant is actively hiring a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time contract position with a collaborative school district in Shelton, Washington. We are looking for a dedicated COTA to join our special education team and are scheduling interviews immediately. What You'll Do Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Assist the supervising OT with data collection and student observations. Follow and implement documented therapy plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to help students improve fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing skills. Document student performance and progress toward goals, reporting back to the supervising OT. Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary special education team to ensure student success in the educational environment. What We're Looking For Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Active Washington COTA license (issued by the WA Department of Health) is required. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification. Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the supervising OT and school staff.
