Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity? Empire Therapy is seeking another Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team! Located in the heart of Spokane with easy access to I-90, Empire Therapy is a clean, well-established practice with a welcoming atmosphere. All full-time therapists are allotted up to 3 hours of paid documentation time per week. Appointments are 60 minutes long, with evaluations taking 90 minutes (60 minutes face-to-face and 30 minutes for paid documentation). Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients. Work with patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop individualized treatment goals and plans Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions. Qualifications Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assist in patient care. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Excellent organizational skills
  • Must be licensed in Washington State.
  • Must supervise therapy aides.
  • The starting pay is for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who have just been licensed.
