Full Job Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team at Greendale Park Nursing & Rehab in Greendale, Wisconsin. Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with various physical and cognitive impairments. Conduct occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and interventions, under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records. Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of patient-centered care plans. Currently certified as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or related field preferred. Prior experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred.
