Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Rivers Edge Nursing & Rehab, a leading provider of exceptional patient care, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Muscoda, Wisconsin. As a Per Diem COTA, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, providing occupational therapy services to our patients in various settings, including inpatient Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, and Outpatient Therapy. Your expertise will help patients achieve their goals, improve their independence, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in providing occupational therapy services to patients, including assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions Facilitate patient participation in therapy sessions, provide education and training to patients and families, and document treatment progress Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

Requirements:

Currently certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
