Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Vision in Motion Therapy Services, LLC Mobile Outpatient Therapy Join Our Team! Vision in Motion Therapy Services is looking for a fun, uplifting, compassionate, and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing mobile outpatient therapy team! We believe therapy should be meaningful, individualized, and enjoyable. Our therapists have the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in their homes, assisted living facilities (ALFs), and community settings, helping them improve their independence and get back to doing the things they love.
NEW GRADS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!
You do not need to walk into this position knowing everything. We want you to feel confident, supported, and prepared to provide excellent care. You will receive one-on-one training with the owner as well as training alongside our other clinicians to ensure you are comfortable with our treatment approach, documentation, patient population, and mobile outpatient model before working independently. What You'll Do As a COTA with Vision in Motion Therapy Services, you will:
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Treat patients one-on-one in their homes, assisted living facilities, and other appropriate community-based settings.
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' independence, safety, strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and ability to participate in meaningful daily activities.
  • Help patients work toward functional goals that are important to their lives and their independence.
  • Provide engaging and creative treatment sessions—we believe therapy doesn't have to be boring; it can be FUN!
  • Communicate with the supervising OT and other members of the clinical team regarding patient progress and changes in functional status.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation according to company and payer requirements.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with patients, families, assisted living staff, and community partners.
  • Help create a supportive environment where patients feel encouraged, respected, and motivated to reach their goals. Who We're Looking For Our ideal COTA is someone who:
  • Is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or is a new graduate working toward meeting applicable licensure/certification requirements.
  • Holds or is eligible for appropriate Wyoming licensure.
  • Is positive, dependable, compassionate, and professional.
  • Has a fun and uplifting personality and enjoys building relationships with patients.
  • Is comfortable working independently while also being part of a supportive therapy team.
  • Enjoys thinking outside the box and making therapy meaningful to each individual patient.
  • Is willing to work in a variety of environments, including patient homes and assisted living communities.
  • Has reliable transportation and is comfortable traveling between patient locations.
  • Has strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
  • Is eager to learn and grow as a clinician.
New Graduates Welcome! We are accepting and encouraging new graduates to apply. Starting your career can feel overwhelming, and we don't expect a new clinician to know everything on day one. At Vision in Motion Therapy Services, you will have the opportunity to receive individualized, hands-on training directly with the owner and our other clinicians. Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, confident, supported, and ready before transitioning into a more independent caseload. We want you to ask questions, learn, grow, and become the best therapist you can be. Why Vision in Motion? Vision in Motion Therapy Services is not your traditional clinic setting. Our mobile outpatient model allows us to meet patients where they are and work on skills that directly impact their everyday lives. Whether we're working with someone in their apartment, helping them safely navigate their assisted living community, practicing meaningful daily activities, or getting into the pool for aquatic therapy, our goal is to make rehabilitation functional, personal, and enjoyable. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with our team and who shares our belief that great therapy is about more than completing exercises—it's about building relationships, improving independence, and helping people get back to doing what they love. Aquatic Therapy Opportunities Vision in Motion also offers aquatic therapy services, and we are excited to continue growing this area of our practice. Providing aquatic therapy is NOT a requirement for this position. However, we would love to find clinicians who are open-minded, willing to try new things, and interested in learning about different approaches to therapy. If getting in the water and learning how aquatic therapy can be incorporated into occupational therapy sounds like something you might enjoy, we would be happy to provide training and help you become comfortable with it. No previous aquatic therapy experience is required. We're looking for clinicians who are willing to grow with us! Compensation & Benefits At Vision in Motion Therapy Services, we value our clinicians and want our team members to feel supported and appreciated. We are proud to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support both your professional and personal well-being.
  • Paid time off, sick time, referral bonus structure, paid parental leave, mileage reimbursement (you only stay in Casper NO major traveling, continuing education credits, opportunities for advancement, flexible schedule) Come Grow With Us!
