Job Overview Are you friendly, dependable, and interested in building a career in eye care? Summit Eye Care is looking for a motivated team member to join our Eagle River practice. In this hands-on role, you'll help patients throughout their visit—from preparing them for their eye exam to assisting with glasses and providing excellent customer service. No optical or medical experience is required. We provide training and are more interested in finding someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with people, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Welcome patients and help create a friendly, professional experience Perform preliminary testing before eye exams Document information for the doctor during patient visits Help patients select frames and lens options Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify insurance eligibility Assist with patient check-in and checkout Keep patient areas organized, clean, and ready for the day Support teammates with other office responsibilities as needed Skills A warm, professional approach to customer service Strong attention to detail and organization Dependability and a positive attitude Clear communication and good interpersonal skills The ability to learn new technology and procedures Comfort handling several responsibilities during a busy day A team-first attitude and willingness to help High school diploma or equivalent preferred Customer service, retail, hospitality, reception, or healthcare experience is helpful—but not required. We will train the right person.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
