We specialize in providing comprehensive vision care to residents in nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and short-term rehabilitation centers across Arizona. Our mission is simple — to make eye care accessible, compassionate, and life-changing. If you're caring, detail-oriented, and want to make a real difference, we'd love to meet you! Position Overview As a Mobile Ophthalmic Technician , you'll travel with our doctors to mobile clinics throughout Arizona, helping deliver exceptional eye care to patients in a variety of care settings. This is an entry-level position , and full training is provided . You'll assist with patient exams, perform basic testing, and ensure that each patient feels comfortable and cared for during their visit. Key Responsibilities Travel with the
Doctor:
Accompany the doctor to mobile clinics across Arizona (transportation provided). Assist with
Patient Care:
Administer dilating drops, check eye pressures, test visual acuity, and help fit patients for glasses.
Perform Special Testing:
Support advanced testing procedures such as ERG (electroretinography) when needed. Create a
Positive Experience:
Provide compassionate, friendly support to patients and facility staff.
Drive Safely:
Transport the team between facilities (Clean driving record and valid AZ Driver License required) . Requirements Valid Arizona Driver License Clean 5-year Certified MVR (no violations) Reliable phone with active cellular service
COVID-19
vaccination required Ability to work full-time ( 40+ hours/week ), typically 4-5 days a week Monday through Friday, starting around 7:00 AM Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented personality Ability to remain on your feet and active for extended shifts (8-10+ hours) in a fast-paced environment Experience in eye care or familiarity with RevolutionEHR is a plus, but not required — we'll train you!
