Job Description

Do you have experience or have always wanted to learn how to help take care of medical patients. We are looking for the right person to join us to help take care of our patients. Work with friendly people, and use the latest ophthalmology technology, all in single office setting. No travel to multiple locations. Use the most advanced medical and practice management software, as well as perform the latest in visual and diagnostic equipment including modern visual fields, LED topography, biometry, and ocular coherence tomography (OCT). Take patient medical histories and perform the latest diagnostic testing. Work with the latest cloud-based electronic medical records and practice management software. Take part in patient workups, electronic prescribing, surgery scheduling, verifying insurance, and obtaining insurance authorizations. All medical-related and computer skills will be used. We offer competitive wages. Health insurance, a 401 K retirement plan, and profit sharing is all part of the package. Great atmosphere in a small office setting. Learn the latest about ophthalmology and ophthalmic lasers and surgery. Full time position Monday through Friday, with half day Fridays. No call. No weekends. Strong candidates that want a part time position will be considered. Looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals. One or a few years of experience in eye care or health care is preferred, but individuals with no experience but enthusiasm and skills working with people are encouraged to apply.
