May make lenses for other optical equipment, such as telescopes or microscopes. Works in medical equipment manufacturing facilities and laboratories, retail stores, or in the offices of optometrists and physicians.

Job Description

Our private optometry practice is growing! We need to add a detail oriented, personable Optometric Technician to add to our team. Your role in our office would be a core component to our patient flow. Pre-testing and set-up for our Doctors would routinely include: Optomap, Auto-Refractor, Fundus Photography, use of NCT and Visual Fields, VA's, manual Lensometer, as well as general knowledge of medical documentation, glasses and contact lenses. Officemate/EHR and optical experience is an advantage. Hours may include rotating Saturdays. Ready for a new challenge?
