aprrox $1400 weekly Join a Premier Ophthalmology Team We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to support a busy, high-volume outpatient Vision Center affiliated with one of the nation's leading healthcare organizations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive ophthalmic workups for patients of all ages Obtain and document medical history, medications, allergies, and visual complaints Measure and record visual acuity, color vision, and near/far vision Perform auto-refraction and intraocular pressure measurements Conduct applanation tonometry and visual field testing Perform corneal topography and keratometry testing Assist with ocular motility and extraocular muscle examinations Perform OCT imaging and fundus photography Prepare patients for physician examinations and procedures Administer dilating eye drops per physician orders Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and in-office procedures Support intravitreal injections when needed Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical workflow Clean, disinfect, and maintain ophthalmic instruments and equipment Educate patients regarding eye medications and treatment instructions Coordinate prescription refill requests Maintain accurate electronic documentation in Epic Follow infection prevention and universal precaution guidelines Ensure exam rooms remain fully stocked and organized Deliver outstanding patient service in a fast-paced outpatient clinic Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of Ophthalmic Technician experience Graduate of an accredited Ophthalmic Technician program Current BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) Experience using Epic Electronic Medical Record Experience with Optos retinal imaging Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently in a busy multi-provider practice Active certification/license if applicable at time of submission Preferred Qualifications Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Experience assisting with intravitreal injections Fundus photography experience High-volume ophthalmology clinic experience Physician office or outpatient eye clinic experience Equipment & Diagnostic Testing Experience Candidates should have experience with: OCT Imaging Optos Retinal Imaging Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer Autorefractor Lensometer Corneal Topography Applanation Tonometry Auto-Refraction Visual Field Testing Fundus Photography Ocular Motility Testing Keratometry Clinical Optics Patient Population Pediatrics Adolescents Adults Geriatrics Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Rotating 1-2 Saturdays per month (8:00 AM•12:00 PM) No on-call No floating Weekend rotation required Why Apply?
