We are a private, patient-focused optometry practice in Burlingame providing comprehensive eye care. We are seeking a part-time Optometric Technician / Clinical Assistant who is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with patients. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. No prior optometry experience is required. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient questions Check patients in/out and collect payments Perform preliminary testing and obtain patient history Assist the doctor with clinical procedures and patient care Assist with contact lens training and patient education Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing Support the team with other front-office and clinical duties as needed

Qualifications:

Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with patients Reliable, punctual, and organized Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Team-oriented and willing to learn Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills Interest in healthcare or optometry is a plus

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time, approximately 3 days per week with potential to become

Full-time Weekdays:

9:30 AM

•6:00 PM May include 1 Saturday a month: 9:00 AM

•2:00 PM Flexible scheduling

Pay:

$20
