In this energetic role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring smooth patient flow while providing essential support in eye care services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a boutique environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. Optometric experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. This role will start off as part-time with 10-20 hours per week on Fridays and/or Saturdays with the potential to increase as our office expands. CLARITY on Melrose is a new optometry practice by Dr. Danielle Richardson O.D. offering modern, design-focused eye care in West Hollywood. Our practice emphasizes thoughtful service, high-quality eyewear, and a welcoming, well-organized environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Support pre-testing and assist the doctor with patient care tasks Manage schedule and field patient inquiry communications Provide frame styling guidance across our curated eyewear collections Recommend lenses and educate patients on available options Communicate effectively with front desk and clinical staff Help reinforce practice standards and operational procedures Qualifications Experience in boutique or high-service optical or retail environments (3+ years preferred) Licensed optician or experienced optical professional welcomed Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach Comfort working in a new practice environment and adapting as systems develop
