Job Description
Optometry office looking for an optometric assistant. Looking for a person who is enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-service oriented. Will be cross trained in optics and front desk duties and will work with a pleasant and helpful staff. Must be willing to learn and be able to multitask. Experience preferred but not required. We will be willing to train the right candidate. Part Time leading to Full Time, days and hours TBD. Duties include, but not limited to: Pre-testing with diagnostic ophthalmic equipment Checking patient in/out Collecting payments Insurance verification Answering and managing busy phones Scheduling appointments Frame and lens selection Processing and billing orders Other office duties and projects as needed Our office is open Monday through Friday from 9:30am - 6:00pm, closed some Wednesdays, and open some Saturdays from 9:00am - 2:00pm.
