Punctuality, ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team environment desired. We are fully paperless, with both electronic medical records and scheduling/billing systems. Must have excellent computer skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Obtaining complete patient medical histories Performing visual acuity testing, OCT, fundus photos, VF/RNFL, ICG, and Fluorescein Angiography, etc. Sterilizing and maintaining equipment & rooms using proper sterile techniques Surgery scheduling and follow up Returning phone calls to patients and pharmacies Assisting in minor procedures Answering and managing phones Scheduling appointments Collecting and verifying insurance information Registering and checking in patients Collecting payments Maintaining accurate patient information in the EMR Maintaining patient confidentiality
