Position Overview:

The Optometric Technician will play a key role in the flow of the clinic. The ideal candidate is adaptable, enjoys working with people, and is willing to be trained in the following areas:

Primary Responsibilities:

Front Desk /

Phone Support :

Answer and route phone calls Schedule and confirm appointments Verify insurance and assist with check-in/check-out Pre-Testing /

Clinical Support:

Perform preliminary testing (autorefractor, NCT, visual fields, imaging, etc.)

Optician Support:

Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses Take measurements (PD, segment height, etc.) Place and track optical orders Perform adjustments and minor repairs

Qualifications:

Prior experience in optometry office, or optical preferred

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 9AM-5PM, Fridays 9AM-1

PM Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
