//www.youtube.com/c/DrDavidDRichardsonMDSanMarino/ Looking for a kind, upbeat, professional individual with good communication skills to perform patient-care related activities for a successful and established medical practice. Patients routinely fly in from around the world to see Dr. David Richardson, so we are only interested in applicants who have a passion for helping others. Ophthalmic experience is highly desired. Dr. Richardson does not participate in insurance plans so you and the rest of his team can focus on the needs of the patient, not the demands of insurance plans. You will not have many opportunities like this one to join a practice that is truly "patient first". Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus, but not required. Serious candidates only. Responsibilities Greet and interview patients to obtain their medical history Managing medical records, scheduling appointments Perform in-office optical and diagnostic testing of the eyes, such as visual acuity, iCare tonometry, corneal hysteresis, OCT imaging, fundus photos, Argos, diagnostic refraction Schedule appointments and support front desk operations Manage medical records in patients' electronic charts Communicate by phone, fax, or email with other medical offices and pharmacies Obtain prior authorizations for medications Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Empathy and service orientation Prior ophthalmic office experience is highly desired Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize work Strong organizational and planning skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with optical devices and ophthalmic equipment is highly desired Refraction skills are a major plus We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where your skills grow while providing outstanding service to our patients.
