We Need a full time employee Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 9:30-3:30PM, A Part time employee on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and some Fridays. We are professional, rewarding, supportive and our goal is to Provide patients with best vision care and health. We offer performance based comission in addition to base hourly rate.

Familiarities in Google Ecosystem, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and web-based appointment system experience is required. We prefer Pre-Optometry Students who is willing to learn from a doctor who's over 30 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
• Utilize Aloha Patience Care system to schedule and organize appointments

• COMPULINK EHR

  to manage patient information and prescriptions and inventory.
• Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history and verifying insurance information
• Perform preliminary tests and measurements, such as visual acuity and intraocular pressure
• Assist with contact lens fittings and instructions for proper use and care
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records, including updating patient information and documenting test results
• Assist with medical coding and billing processes
• Provide support to the optometrist during examinations and procedures
• Educate patients on eyewear options, including frames and lenses, and assist with sales
• Utilize retail math skills to calculate pricing, discounts, and insurance coverage for eyewear purchases

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of optometric systems (e.g., Compulink) is a plus
• Familiarity with medical records management and medical coding practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in documentation
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
• Knowledge of pediatric optometry is a plus
