Responsibilities:

Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations Conduct preliminary testing Perform administrative tasks including patient scheduling, collecting payments, and taking phone calls Obtain vision insurance authorizations Perform retinal imaging and other diagnostic tests Lead contact lens insertion and removal training for first-time wearers Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options Ensure accurate record keeping Adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines and regulations Maintain cleanliness of office and equipment

Qualifications:

Spanish fluency required Previous experience as an optometric/ophthalmic technician or in a similar role preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems Cash handling and customer service experience preferred If you are interested in joining our team, please reach out with your resume and a brief introduction.
