The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical knowledge of ophthalmic conditions, advanced patient assessment skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations, assisting in surgical procedures, and managing a broad spectrum of ophthalmic cases with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients under physician supervision. Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and conducting examinations. Diagnose and treat common ophthalmic conditions within the PA scope of practice. Assist physicians with in office procedures and surgical procedures. Order, interpret, and document diagnostic tests and imaging. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and postoperative care. Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and administrative staff to ensure high quality patient care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current Physician Assistant license in the State of

CA. NCCPA

certification required. DEA license (or ability to obtain). BLS certification. Prior ophthalmology experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with a strong interest in ophthalmology are encouraged to apply.
