An Ophthalmic Technician makes prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses by cutting and shaping lenses according to individual prescriptions. May make lenses for other optical equipment, such as telescopes or microscopes. Works in medical equipment manufacturing facilities and laboratories, retail stores, or in the offices of optometrists and physicians.

Job Description
Responsibilities includes but not limited to scheduling appointments, pretesting patients, confirming insurance eligibility, collecting payment, filing and organizing.
Skills required for the position:
fast learner, able to communicate to others well, multi-task, works well under pressure, take directions well and able to work independently. This position will start as part-time with an average of 24 hours (4 days a week), Saturday is a must. Individual applying must be reliable.Job Type:
