ABOUT THE POSITION

As an Optometric Technician, you will work closely with our doctors and patients and become an important part of the patient care team.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting doctors with patient care Performing pre-testing and diagnostic testing Obtaining patient histories and maintaining accurate electronic records Contact lens instruction and related services Scheduling and confirming appointments Answering phones and assisting patients Working with computer systems and other technology Cross-training in our optical department Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout the patient experience Working efficiently in a sometimes fast-paced environment Providing exceptional customer service and helping create a positive patient experience

THE DETAILS

Starting pay: $16.82-$18.04/hour 90-day review: $18.07-$19.63/hour This is a full-time, year-round rotating position between our Craig and Steamboat Springs offices. Generally, you will work approximately 2 days per week in our Steamboat office , with the remaining days in Craig. Transportation between offices may be available on some days, depending on scheduling. And yes — weekends are off!
