  • Responsibilities:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and assembly skills
  • Read blueprints and work from assembly drawings
  • Be a self-starter, who will work independently on production assemblies and repairs
  • Work with micrometers, calipers, multi meters, and other measuring tools
  • Multi-task on a variety of technical jobs while keeping the work organized
  • Cross-train within the department to learn other skills and work processes
  • Assist in maintaining productivity and efficiency, while meeting scheduled delivery dates and consistently upholding compliance
  • Develop the ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets in handling hazardous chemicals
  • Adhere to all EH&S and proper protective equipment as required (PPE)
Qualifications:
Required:
  • 0-3 years of mechanical and/or machinist related experience.
  • Must be mechanically inclined with a curiosity and aptitude to learn.
  • Computer proficiency with the willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to speak up as appropriate and escalate issues as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of flexibility and assist others as needed.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
