We are looking for a dependable, friendly professional who enjoys providing excellent patient care and is interested in a long-term career with our practice. This position requires working in both our Fort Myers and Bonita Springs offices. Most scheduled hours will be at our Bonita Springs office, with coverage at our Fort Myers office as needed. Full-Time Schedule Monday:

8:30 AM•5:00

PM Tuesday:

8:30 AM•5:00

PM Wednesday:

8:30 AM•5:30

PM Thursday:

8:30 AM•5:00 PM No weekends. A rare Friday may be required. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive optometric technician duties Obtain patient histories and perform preliminary testing Perform diagnostic testing including OCT, Optos retinal imaging, visual field testing, tonometry, and refraction Assist with contact lens fittings, patient training, and related care Assist with clinical procedures such as punctal occlusion, as appropriate Accurately document clinical findings in the electronic medical record Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical work areas Stock clinical supplies and assist with inventory management and ordering Help maintain a clean, neat, and organized office Provide exceptional patient care and customer service Requirements Previous experience in an optometric or ophthalmic office is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional scrubs are worn as the standard clinical attire for this position If you are an experienced, dependable, and organized optometric technician looking for a supportive practice where your work is appreciated, we'd love to hear from you.
