Job Description
Looking for a part time optometric technican 2 days a week available to work weekdays and/or weekend days(Saturday and Sunday) as needed. Duties will include pretesting patients with autorefractor, optomap retinal imaging, reading glasses, and NCT intraocular pressure check as well as checking vision. Duties up front will include checking patients in and out, selling contact lenses, answering phones, pulling insurance authorizations, submitting vision insurance claims, checking if Medicare deductibles have been met and collecting payment. Very high tech office so must be tech savvy. Crystal practice management EHR and office ally for Medicare. Competitive hourly rate. Currently have experienced techs and several doctors. Average about 10 patients a day but can see up to 15 or 16 in a day. No experience needed! Looking for someone loyal with a strong work ethic and a great positive attitude.
