Multiple Established Practice Locations Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday Position Overview An established multispecialty ophthalmology organization with more than 25 years of experience is seeking an experienced Refractive & Cataract Surgeon to join its growing surgical team in Florida. The practice has established locations across Sebring, Gainesville, and the Tampa market and offers a collaborative MD/OD care model with strong clinical and administrative support. This is an urgent, growth-focused opportunity with immediate surgical volume and an established patient base. Clinical Focus The practice is seeking a surgeon with demonstrated experience in:
- Cataract surgery
- Refractive cataract surgery
- Premium and advanced-technology IOLs
- Laser vision correction
- Comprehensive ophthalmology Depending on training and experience, procedures may include:
- LASIK
- PRK
- SMILE
- Implantable Collamer Lenses
- Traditional and laser-assisted cataract surgery
- Premium IOL implantation
- Advanced refractive and vision-correction procedures This is primarily a cataract and refractive surgery opportunity and is not a retina-focused position.
Job Responsibilities Responsibilities Perform cataract, refractive cataract, and laser vision-correction procedures Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic evaluations Develop individualized surgical and treatment plans Evaluate patients for premium lenses and refractive technologies Manage patients through preoperative and postoperative care Monitor surgical outcomes Educate patients regarding treatment options, risks, expectations, and outcomes Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR Stay current with advances in cataract, refractive, laser, and premium-lens technology Support continued clinical growth and expansion
