Eye Consultants of Savannah, LLC is hiring a Satellite Office Representative to support patient flow and diagnostic testing in our ophthalmology clinic. This is a patient-facing role that blends front-desk coordination with ophthalmic testing support. You'll help ensure patients are checked in efficiently, testing is performed accurately, and clerical tasks are completed with attention to detail.

Key responsibilities: Patient check-in/check-out Greet patients, verify demographics/insurance information, and confirm appointment details Collect copays as applicable and provide clear next-step instructions Schedule follow-ups and coordinate testing/physician flow as directed Ophthalmic diagnostic testing (training provided/validated as needed) Perform visual fields (per clinic protocol) Ensure correct patient selection, laterality, test type, and documentation before/after testing Maintain clean, safe testing areas and follow infection-control procedures Clerical and administrative support Answer phones, route messages appropriately, and support patient communication Scan/upload documents, manage forms, and maintain organized records Support referrals, prior authorizations, and other clerical tasks as assigned Coordinate with the main office and clinical teams to keep schedules running smoothly What success looks like Patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for from arrival through checkout Testing is performed accurately, consistently, and on time , with complete documentation The satellite clinic runs smoothly with minimal bottlenecks and strong team communication Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year experience in a medical office, ophthalmology/optometry setting preferred Experience with diagnostic testing; willing to train the right candidate Comfortable using EHR/practice management systems and basic office software Strong customer service skills, professionalism, and a calm demeanor Detail-oriented with the ability to follow protocols and protect patient privacy (HIPAA) Physical and work requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and move between front desk and testing areas Ability to position patients for testing and handle clinic equipment safely Schedule and location Position is based at one of our satellite location in Statesboro, GA Full-time or part-time may be considered based on clinic needs Equal opportunityEye Consultants of Savannah, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
