Job Description

Our optometric assistants perform tests that are vital to the eye health examination of our patients. They guide the patients through the process and prepare them to see one of our optometrists. Duties include utilizing various ophthalmic machines to acquire images and data. The optometric assistant will input the data into the electronic medical record. They also teach patients about appropriate contact lens insertion, removal and care of lenses. Basic Qualifications include general computer knowledge and competency, excellent customer service skills, ability to be on your feet for a full eight hour shift, and a willingness to learn.
