Suburban Associates in Ophthalmology, a leading Ophthalmology medical practice with three office locations in the NW suburban Chicago area, has a full time Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technician openings. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing practice. Duties and responsibilities as a diagnostic technician include but are not limited to: Completing diagnostic testing related to the patient exams (Examples include but not limited to: HVF, OCT, Optos, Pentacam. A training program will support your proficiency for administering these tests with benchmarks to guide your success. Completing accurate and consistent documentation of diagnostic tests Monitor patient flow, ensuring the physician exam rooms are filled Escort patient to front desk and assist with follow up appointment if necessary This position requires the ability to be scheduled to float between our Arlington Heights, Elk Grove, and Hoffman Estates office locations. Must have proficient computer skills and 40+ WPM.
