Are you looking for a rewarding position in a growing healthcare practice? Great Rivers Community Eye Care is a patient-focused, independent optometry office seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our small but dedicated staff. About the
Role:
This position will begin part-time (approximately 3 days per week) with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as our practice expands. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning, can handle a variety of responsibilities, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities (training provided): Greeting and assisting patients at the front desk Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance Assisting the doctor with preliminary testing (training provided) Helping patients select eyewear and understand lens options Processing orders and assisting with billing tasks Keeping the office organized and running smoothly
Qualifications:
Previous experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or medical office setting is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude Comfort with multitasking in a small-office environment Reliability and good communication skills Why Join Us?
