Ophthalmic Technician / ReceptionistPart-Time | Eyes On Butterfield + Target Optical Eyes On Butterfield is looking for a friendly, motivated team member to join our small, privately owned optometry practice! This is a great opportunity for someone interested in getting into healthcare or the optical industry . We are looking for someone who can help with both ophthalmic technician duties and front-desk/reception responsibilities . What you'll do: Assist with patient check-in/check-out and scheduling Answer phones and communicate with patients Perform basic pre-testing and ophthalmic testing Take patient histories and assist with contact lens training Help with insurance verification and authorizations Assist with insurance submissions and billing Help our doctors and team wherever needed Cross-train in optical , including frames, lenses, measurements, adjustments, dispensing and basic lab work

Experience:

Experience is preferred, but absolutely NOT required! We would love someone who already has experience in: Ophthalmic/optometric technology Healthcare or medical offices Insurance authorizations and submissions Vision and/or medical insurance billing EHR systems — Revolution EHR experience is a plus Reception, phones and appointment scheduling No experience? That's okay! This could be a great first step for someone interested in healthcare, optometry, optical, or a college student looking to gain real-world experience .
