Position to be filled by October 5th, 2026 About the role: We are looking for a motivated professional to join our team as an Optometric Technician. We provide patients with the absolute best in quality eye care, and as a part of our team, you perform crucial tests necessary for patients to proceed to an exam with our optometrist. You will also assist the optometrist during the exam, this requires you to use a variety of optical equipment. Regardless of your level of optical experience—some or none at all—you can rest assured that you will receive the training you need to be a successful Optometric Technician.

Responsibilities:

• Documentation of medical history.
• Data entry of examination results entered into electronic health records.
• Assist optometrist with examinations and maintain patient charts.
• Preliminary testing including checking vision, intraocular pressures, corneal measurements, and retinal photos.
• Diagnostic testing including visual fields, Optomap, and OCT
• Answering telephone and emails.
• Scheduling appointments.
• Coding and billing for routine and medical exams.
• Other duties as assigned by management to include cross training, support of retail floor, etc.
• Show patients how to properly care for contact lens.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer knowledge
• Experience in a medical office ( preferred but will train the right candidate )
• Available to travel to other locations as needed
